Retired To Refire

As we, warriors in Digital Marketing and Content Creation team 11 progress on our journey of experience to Cana land, we retired after the week one project and then powerfully refired in preparation for the second week.

You are wondering how we got served? Yeah, we know. Breakfast is supposed to be served in the morning but ours was served on a hot Monday afternoon.

We must commend her for it was an excellent task she did, editing and organizing our project. For a job well done, we bought her a massager and breakfast for the meeting. Do not ask how that was possible, we sent the gifts via Xender. istockphoto-962578726-612x612.jpg We congratulated ourselves for the job well done and implored ourselves to do better for the incoming projects. Our discussion that morning centralized on the past project, what we need to improve on, how to improve, and preparation for the coming tasks. Week one project was a challenge of genesis, but we move!.

Unknowingly for us, our breakfast was being prepared almost ready to be served.

Exodus

While we ruminate on our meeting, our week two project landed at the portfolio airport. It was a BREAKFAST SERVED IN THE HOT AFTERNOON. To top it all, the breakfast was served on a public holiday.

This breakfast made every digital marketer on the portfolio Bootcamp start running helter-skelter. Hmmm, it was not a fun afternoon.

Do you ask what the project is about? Well if you see it, you will certainly purchase a hand massager for every one of us.

We are to launch a blog using either Blogger or WordPress for any industry. By the end of the week, the blog must have a minimum of six articles, 700 words each, must include images, and must have a minimum of 100 readers.

But we can’t be fazed this is what we signed up for. And we said to ourselves, "we shall not slack!"

Sharp sharp! in the spirit of boot camp, the team lead scheduled a meeting for 6 pm that same day to discuss. Our team lead asked each team member to research a niche industry before the meeting.

At the round table, after much deliberation at the meeting, as per se, we love food, we all agreed to go with the Food Industry and also picked 'The Foodie' as our blog name.

Everyone was charged to submit at least one article latest on Wednesday that would give us enough time to edit, upload, and source for readers.

We were charged and ready to start writing.

istockphoto-1388798125-612x612.jpg To God be the glory, before Wednesday could run out, we had eight articles ready to upload.

What do you expect? We are confirmed writists!.

We had another meeting on Wednesday to finalize our discussion and also urge others to submit their articles.

Yay, We did it!

Na too dey source for readers remain ooo, hmm. As the boss she is, the team lead dropped the link to the blog on Thursday afternoon. Our blog 'The Foodie' was ready, we shared the articles on every platform. Hmm, 100 readers no be beans oo.

Jericho walls

  • There was a general electricity issue in the country that wanted to "shenk" us, but we were resolute to this one thing.
  • Some team members were absent from our real-time meetings
  • Inability to share our articles widely enough on social media platforms because some of our teammates were offline due to the fall of the National electricity grid.

The Landing

To all of that, eureka! we met our goal. The Foodie
