GetPay Take A Pause

I talk about GetPay a few times before but didn't officially write a post about it. It's a bit funny + sad that the first time I talk about this product here and I'm going to announce I will be taking a break on this product.

GetPay let you link with your Stripe account and generate a unique payment link for your Stripe Checkout.

Sounds familiar with the concept? Yes, Stripe had announced similar features a few days ago. It seems like everyone loves it.

I believe I managed to spot an issue, found an opportunity, and worked to build a prototype, but I failed to let others know about it. Seriously if I compare it now side by side with what I build, I dare to say mine has much more features than what Stripe has to create.

So I ask myself, what should I do? The product that I build based on that platform has released a competitive feature to my products? I decide to take a pause. I learn from this lesson and don't want to repeat the same mistake. I m in progress building some other things and having some good progress already; I should focus on pushing for it.

For the next three months, I will focus on building things on Adalo; after that, I might be revisiting GetPay and decided what to do. For now, I am going to pause any development for GetPay.
