IT Lead, Master Data Analyst (MDM)

The Lead Master Data Analyst (MDM) will provide guidance and direction to the global organization related to Salesforce & Oracle Cloud Master Data Management and Data Quality Management. This role will provide MDM support for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ), Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM implementations. You’ll be part of the IT Enterprise Architecture & Shared Services team supporting all functions across Sales, Marketing, Services, Customer Success, Finance and HR as it relates to master data management, quality and governance. This role will closely partner with the IT Delivery teams – G&A systems, GTM Systems and Enterprise Business Intelligence.
In this role you will…
- Lead Master Data Management initiatives across various functional areas, to develop and improve Master Data Management, Data Quality and Data Governance.
- Lead efforts in business automation of current processes related to Data within the Enterprise.
- Work with the team to evaluate business needs and priorities, liaise with key business partners and address team needs related to data systems and data management.
- Responsible for the creation and adoption of standards for global compliance and master data integrity across the company including working with global business leaders to assure compliance and develop improvement projects.
- Institute weekly, monthly and quarterly quality assurance checks and lead a cross-functional Master Data Governance forum.
- Develop automated scripts and solutions for automating business processes including the uploading of master data into CRM/ERP systems.
- Effectively manage day-to-day activities to ensure completion of key tasks and activities related to ensuring accuracy and that all master data is current and to correct any data anomalies.
- Facilitate all master data management documentation, while ensuring cross-functional adoption and approval.
- Provide technical support for master data across all areas of the company and interface with process teams for Salesforce and Oracle Cloud ERP design and new functionality.
- Partner with Business and IT stakeholders at all levels to refine the roadmap and to develop innovative solutions for MDM.
You have what it takes if you have…
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or Computer Science/Engineering related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in Information Technology and delivering solutions on Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Modeling, Master Data Frameworks & Metadata.
- Experience with MDM concepts, tools & processes.
- Experience with MDM for Salesforce CRM, CPQ, Oracle Cloud ERP for all key master data.
- Hands on knowledge of Product Information Management Technology (experience with Informatica P360, Oracle PIM, IBM, Oracle EBS etc. is highly preferred).
- Strong Data Governance processes (e.g., GDPR) with very strong focus on Data Quality, Data Analytics, Data Architecture, Data Profiling and Data Integrations.
- Experience working on enterprise data projects (data warehouses/master data management, others) with hands on data analysis, profiling skills using SQL.
- Implementation experience with tools like Reltio or Informatica MDM.
- Experience in pulling data directly from systems using SQL programming.
- Hands on experience on data modeling (Conceptual, logical, and physical).
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated record of accomplishment of effectively partnering with IT, Engineering, Finance, HR, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Systems and technical aptitude to understand how data is structured.
- Good organization and multi-tasking skills with ability to manage multiple data activities.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to process and structure qualitative and quantitative data in a way that can be shared with others to help facilitate informed business decision making.
- Skilled at active listening, written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with peers and providing appropriate leadership and guidance.
- Must be proactive, self-starting and intrinsically motivated.
