Hey guys! I know it’s been a while 😃, I’ve missed you too 🤗. I have good news 🚨, I got admitted into GCA!. GCA stands for Girlcode Academy. What is Girlcode academy? well, GirlCode Academy is a program positioned to encourage young women willing to delve into software development and product design. The program comes with a lot of benefits. It trains you in your field of interest and, in this program, you get to work on projects both as a team and as an individual. Well, we only just started so I can't give a full rating yet but so far so good. I'm currently learning front-end development. Our first instructor Chidinma Okafor was pretty cool she reminds me of my sister🥺. she shared a lot of helpful resources. We were given assignments on the first week.

I made a SpongeBob website.

Here are some images of what I made;

Please don't laugh these are just the basics of HTML & CSS😅. I had an issue with linking my images at first but my group member Salami helped me out. I forgot to put my closing tag for the anchor tag at first but I eventually figured it out, I felt so fulfilled (Just me doing what Software testers do.😎)

I took up this course to have a background in programming. This will really help in my software testing career as a strong background in programming is needed for automation testing. We've been asked to pick a project we want to work on, I submitted my Idea and hopefully, it gets approved, who knows I might just build the next billion-dollar app 🤷🏽‍♀️ (😂 please don’t laugh just let this young woman dream in peace, don't you know how Google started? 🤔or was that Facebook?😂). I stopped learning Java programming for now but once I’m done with this hopefully I’ll get back to it.😇 I just wanted to let you guys know how your girl is doing and why I haven't been writing lately but I'll try to keep you guys updated. Thanks for reading.
