Introduction ⚑

The ultimate baseline of networking is being continuously connecting with random people and interacting with them so that it makes us more familiar with the common crowd. Sometimes people may feel weird communicating with common people and feel comfortable. But it is necessary to overcome this by a consistent practice of socializing with people there are many ways for making an extensive network and making progress with our career. There are a few strategies that help professionals to find clients and built an extensive network for them.

Getting Started in Networking with people πŸŽ‰

Networking usually involves meeting new people, who share a profession, industry, or interests. Networking involves exchanging ideas and information between these individuals. Unrelated to computer networking, professional networking often takes place in informal settings.

Keeping people attracted to our actions and words towards their work will definitely make them remember us and this create a network that may lead to a step to a successful career path. People may forget you but not your words. Words are very powerful. The strongest a person's words, the strongest will be his network too.

Steps to follow

1. Cold Emails βœ‰

when you email someone you don’t know for some particular reason is cold emailing. Such emails aim to build a relationship with the prospect (your future customer) and move them forward in the sales funnel.

Creating a network by interacting with companies using the strategy of cold emails will work out sometimes. Tracking the consistent progress of certain companies or any organizations and regularly responding to their progress by encouraging them or suggesting your way of approach May make them identify you differently. Sending cold mail about the progress of that organization will pave a way for developing your network strength. But the cold mail must be very formal and catchy. So that it will be found unique.

An easy and quick example of a cold email might be in your inbox right now, where the sales rep might have reached out to you for a product demo or wants to connect with you for a particular reason.

2. Frequent Engaging - they can see you! ✨

Companies will eventually notice you if you constantly engaging provide valuable feedback on their products. even though you're new to the market you can perform user level testing and provide value in any way.

3. Be visible to them πŸ‘€

The first and foremost thing that makes us popular among the crowd is our profile. our profile will be the physical appearance that will reveal our talents and all consistent progress. People from organizations will note the profile constantly while we continuously contribute to their work. Having a clear profile will help you to boost your online visibility much higher.

A profile must clearly demonstrate our skill sets, progress, dedication, and interest. These things will elaborate on who we are to the network. So that people want to impress by our profile. Once people are impressed by our profile, there is a chance for them to reach out to us.

4. Provide Value - even in small πŸš€

If you are a beginner it's completely fine you can contribute whatever you can even it is a very small quantity it still means you are enthusiastic about the contribution and the learning part so don't hesitate to start what you love to do.

Contribution is the major thing that will define our skill set. The size of the contribution doesn't matter. People making that contribution must be a large one. And they feel discomfort to make small contributions. But even if the contribution me small the value of it will be a larger one. Single contributions be changed your life and make a more network. Try to reach out to the people who make the larger contribution so that he can explore in detail about them.

5. Platforms πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ“£

Keep an eye on every possible platform where your dream company or role model exists online, Some CEOs love Twitter and some may love LinkedIn.

You can be available on all social media platforms. Once a company is focused on its progress by us, you have to constantly look for its updates on all social media. Some of the updates may be released in certain platforms, in this case, we have to keep track of the problems consistently in every possible way we can.

6. Sudden check πŸ€”β•

If you are favorite content creator goes on a sudden break try to check on them, and offer any help if they want. We may like the works of some of the content creators on social media platforms and find their regular content eagerly. But if you couldn't able to find their content periodically or any delay try to check it out directly which shows your interest in they are content or work. This will make us be found unique in our interests. Show the content creators that you are eager with their upcoming works. This will increase the strength of the network.

Dream Job fields ⭐

With the knowledge of Cloud Engineering working in a DevOps role is one of my favorite jobs.Being a DevOps Engineer I can manage entire operations and management of an application as a team apart from the standard definitions of devOps engineer I should be responsible to measure the main 3 KPIs

They are

Velocity - how often you're releasing changes to the customer.

Quality - before devops, after devops..less defects in production (google had a issue with authentication service - outage issue - outages )

MTTR - mean time to recovery or restore. (15 mins for google.. It's their mttr) to minimize this make sure you have a proper CI/CD pipeline to make fixes very fast, identifying issues also important.
