first of all I want to clarify that we weren't able to list this collection on any marketplace because that was not part of :) .

I want to write this as a story okay?

let's go..

The Idea: where this all started

A friend of mine (let's say X) is an NFT trader and has some knowledge about the NFTs market, discussed the idea of making our collection(around Oct 2021). After a couple of days of discussion we divided the work:

• Me Illustration part
• Y joined us as a designer and he was who gave us the idea that the collection should be on the cones.
• X, listing part was his job

The very next day one guy left:

Y who suggested to us the theme of the collection(cone) was gone as he said this will not gonna be a successful project 🥲 but the good part is I like the cone theme. So, I and X decided to divide the work again.

• Me, Illustration and designing part.
• X, listing on the marketplace.

#Me with 0 experience with drawing or illustration:

• Now, the designing part is not mine but I had no experience in drawing as I was one of the kids in school who were the worst at drawing.

Google is a best friend:

• I started looking at the famous NFT collection so that I can get some inspiration on where to start.

• I decided to go with a simple and pastel theme.

started learning illustration:

• From youtube, I learn how to use Adobe illustrator from here Denial is an amazing guy I learned all the basic stuff from here and practice a little.

• I really Doodles and now time is what I can superimpose from this to art👀

• Here is what I initially made

• I know some can sell these too but not be I want to improve it and make it more refined!

You can force creativity😌:

• Whenever I sat down with commitment I m gonna make 5 eye traits tonight sadly I can't ideas don't come like these. I remember I got frustrated one-night cuz I was unable to move an inch forward from that point I decided not to force this (this is not like a coding website for sure.)

• From now I only make something whenever I get an idea and here are some samples

With time things got to improving:

I got the structure and theme on which I want to work from here I just need to tweak the stuff and more traits(eyes, mouth, cone designs, backgrounds, etc) whenever I get a spark of an idea and fast forward to April 2022 I almost completed the work from my side(the effective time it took around 70-80 days many weeks I do not use to work on this) little by little every day.

You can also check sweetcone(the site is slow because currently hosted on GitHub servers). The background, images, and stickers are done by me and X made the website(don't know who X is, start reading from the top👀).

What I learn from this:

• You can't from creative thinking. let the idea flow freely in your mind, when it gonna clicks it clicks.

• Clear your all doubts so no misunderstanding is left between you and your team.
