Will AI replace programmers?
AI technologies are now capable to produce meaningful lines of code more fastly and accurately than programmers.
Thanks to artificial intelligence (AI), the software will write itself in the future. That's how the CEO of Google Sunder Pichai sees the future of software development. And he may be right!
Artificial intelligence(AI) is taking a reorientation in the field of technology. Nowadays, Essay writing, making presentations, Debugging code and also writing codes are not a big deal for AI. AI works much better than humans in all of these fields. Now it's a question "Will AI replace programmers?".
Talking about an AI like ChatGPT, which is a topic of discussion for some of the last months, because it's a revolutionary technology. It is trained to learn what humans mean when they ask a question. Many users are awed at its ability to provide human-quality responses, inspiring the feeling that it may eventually have the power to disrupt how humans interact with computers and change how information is retrieved.
No doubt that AI is getting much better at programming day by day. And it's a fact that AI-based tools will ultimately be much better than people in programming. But AI won't become independent of humans that quickly and be able to create useful and practical code.
Programmers no longer write the code by hand. They already use a lot of intelligent tools that automate their coding and compilation efforts. But a future in which artificial intelligence(AI) will able to make its own decisions and develop software is still extremely far away.
