AWS re:Invent 2022

Near the end of 2022 I was lucky enough to attend AWS re:Invent with a colleague. It was a whirlwind of immersive talks, breakouts and keynotes and I'll kick off a series of posts on what talks I attended and my takeaways from the week.
My main focus was serverless and event-driven architecture, which was fortunate as that was very much the theme of re:Invent 2022, alongside saving money and consolodating AWS services for undoubtedly a rocky recession-baiting few years for AWS customers.
