What I learned so far

It was November 16, 2022, and I had just decided to embark on a journey to learn web development. I had always been interested in computers and technology, but I had never really tried to learn how to code. At first, I wasn't sure what path to take. I researched different programming languages and technologies online and eventually decided to focus on front-end development. I mean, who doesn't love the idea of being able to create visually appealing websites that make people go "wow" and "amazing"?

I spent hours watching YouTube tutorials and practicing my skills, but I still felt like I was missing something. That's when I found the "Complete Web Development Bootcamp" course on Udemy, taught by the esteemed Dr. Angela Yu. I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Yu is a great teacher (at least, that's what all her students say) and the course was exactly what I needed to get started. I learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap and even built several projects to practice what I had learned.

But I didn't want to stop there. I was determined to improve my understanding of JavaScript, the language that makes websites interactive and fun. So, I continued working through the course and also turned to The Odin Project for additional practice. While I have made progress in my JavaScript skills, I still have a lot to learn and am working towards becoming proficient in the language. I mean, who wouldn't want to be able to make their website do a little dance or pop up a silly message for their visitors?

Overall, I feel like I have made a lot of progress in my journey as a front-end developer. I know that there is always more to learn, and I'm excited to see where my skills will take me in the future. Maybe I'll even be able to create a website that can solve world hunger or end world peace. A boy can dream, right?

Thanks for reading!
