Why Facebook and Instagram are not good choices?

Who doesn't know about Meta/Facebook these days?

Facebook and Instagram can be popular social media platforms, but they are not the best places for joining and participating in tech communities, why? because:

  1. Facebook and Instagram are primarily designed for sharing personal content and connecting with friends and family. They are highly focused on sharing your personal life more than your professional life. As a result, posts related to tech and professional topics may not receive as much visibility and engagement as they would on Twitter or Linkedin.

  2. The search function on Facebook and Instagram is not as good as on other platforms like Twitter. It can be difficult to find and participate in specific conversations or groups related to tech and professional topics.

  3. Facebook and Instagram are platforms that are more focused on personal and social interactions, they may not be seen as professional or appropriate for business or professional use.

  4. Facebook and Instagram have faced criticism over their data privacy practices, which may make some users hesitant to share professional information or participate in professional conversations on these platforms.
