As someone who didn't come from a technical background, I know how daunting it can be to try and learn data science. I assure you if I can do it, so can you!

When I first started exploring data science, I felt like I was trying to read a foreign language. I was unaware of many technical terminologies and also didn’t know where to start. But I was determined to learn, so I took it one step at a time.

First, I started by focusing on understanding the basic concepts and tools used in data science. I read articles, watched videos, and took online courses that explained things in simple terms. I also made sure to practice what I was learning by working with real data.

Next, I made sure to stay up to date with the latest developments in the domain. I subscribed to blogs, joined online communities, and attended webinars. This helped me to see how data science was being applied in the real world and gave me a better understanding of what was possible.

Then during the process, I realized that data science wasn't just about the technical side of things. It was also about problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication. I made sure to develop these skills as well so that I could communicate my findings effectively to others.

One of the best ways I found to learn data science was through online courses and tutorials. These resources are designed to be accessible and user-friendly, and they helped me to learn the technical aspects of data science in a more manageable way.

Finally, I came to understand the importance of being both patient and persistent. Learning data science is a complex and challenging task, and it may take some time to fully understand and master the concepts and tools used in data science. However, with the appropriate mindset and a desire to acquire knowledge, anyone can become a data scientist.

In summary, if you're not from a technical background, don't let that stop you from learning data science. Understand the basic concepts and tools, work with real data, stay up-to-date with the latest developments, develop soft skills, take online courses and tutorials, and be patient and persistent. Enjoy the process, with the right mindset and approach, you'll be on your way to becoming a data scientist in no time!
