tvOS 16.3 Released

Apple just released tvOS 16.3, the third major update to the tvOS 16 operating system that was originally released in September. Compatible with the Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, tvOS 16.3 came just six weeks after tvOS 16.2, which included Apple Music Sing.

Changes

tvOS updates usually contain minor bug fixes and internal improvements, rather than outward-facing changes. As of yet, there is no information about what's included in the tvOS 16.3 update, and no features were discovered during the beta testing process. Apple provides information about tvOS releases in its tvOS support document, which is updated with each tvOS launch.

How to Update

The tvOS 16.3 update can be obtained over the air by accessing the Settings app on the Apple TV, then navigating to System > Software Update. If automatic software updates are enabled, then the Apple TV will be upgraded to tvOS 16.3 automatically.
