Repushing Failed Applications in Intune
Sometimes applications will fail to deploy properly. They automatically retry three times but after that, it just fails. To retry the process, you can either reboot the machine or restart the Microsoft Intune Management Service.
Note, the above solution only seems to work for Win32 apps. If you have a LOB app, you have to follow the below process.
Go to Intune and select the application that’s failing and go to Manage > Properties.
Select the Included group mode, change it to Excluded, and click OK.
Go to the Device Installed Status blade and wait until the failed machines change from Failed to Install Pending. This can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours.
Now, go back to the application in question and go to Manage > Properties.
Select the Excluded group mode, change it to Included, and click OK.
Note, this process also works if you previously had an application that successfully installed to a machine, then you uninstalled it, and need to re-install it.
