Is it a situation where chatGPT is taking over human jobs that is companies are replacing human employees and using ChatGPT? To some extent, the answer to this question is yes. It was discovered that about half of their businesses were using chatbots. And almost half of this group claim that ChatGPT has already changed workers at their organizations.
As some businesses have adopted the AI chatbot to complete the work being done earlier by employees, saving thousands of dollars, Microsoft-owned ChatGPT has begun to replace humans at workplaces.
According to a Fortune article, "businesses that use ChatGPT claim to have saved money using the AI tool, with 48% reporting savings of over $50,000 and 11% reporting savings of over $100,000".
"Workers definitely need to think about how it may affect their current job responsibilities as this new technology is growing in the workplace right now," Stacey Haller, chief career advisor at Resume Builder, was quoted as saying in the report.
Approximately 77% of businesses that use ChatGPT said that it aids in the creation of job specifications, and 66% said that the AI chatbot creates invitations for interviews.
Job seekers are also using the AI chatbot ChatGPT for resumes and cover letters, according to a study by Resume Builder. Nearly one in two recent and ongoing job searchers have written their resumes and/or cover letters using ChatGPT. Of the 1,000 respondents who admitted to using ChatGPT for their application materials, 72 % said they used the tool to write cover letters, and 51 % say they used it to create resumes. 76% of respondents said the quality of the application materials written by ChatGPT is "high" or "very high," indicating that the majority of respondents were pleased with the outcomes. Additionally, according to 28% of respondents, editing of the applications and/or cover letters created by ChatGPT required little to no effort.
Microsoft recently unveiled an online browser called Edge, an AI-powered Bing search engine, and integrated Chat. To get real-world feedback and learn from it, the business is testing it with a select group of individuals in over 169 different countries.
