Programming can be a tough and demanding field to learn, both physically and mentally. As a newbie programmer, I have experienced the highs and lows that come with this field. While it's great to feel accomplished and excited about what you've learned, it can be equally demotivating when you feel like you're not progressing as you should or when you compare yourself to others.

Last week was particularly challenging for me. I had moments of feeling stupid, demotivated, and tired. Despite my prior successes in learning new programming skills, I felt like I had leveled down and couldn't get my brain to work properly. It was a difficult time, and I struggled to see a way out of it.

However, I was fortunate to have access to a strong developer community in Facebook and reddit that helped me clear my doubts. They reminded me that everyone has a different learning curve, and progress can sometimes be slow. They encouraged me to keep punching the wall, and I would eventually make progress.

In hindsight, I learned that comparing myself to others is not productive. We are all unique individuals with different strengths and weaknesses. It's essential to focus on our own learning journey and celebrate the small wins along the way. Even when we feel like we're not making progress, we must keep pushing ourselves forward.

So, to all those who are experiencing the same struggles or feeling like they've hit a wall in their programming journey, remember that you're not alone. We all started at the same starting line, and it's perfectly normal to face obstacles along the way. The key is to keep going and remain excited about the potential that comes with learning to be a better programmer.

There is always something new to learn and improve upon, and I'm excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. By sharing my story, I hope to inspire and encourage others to keep pushing through the ups and downs and embrace the journey towards becoming better programmers.
