It is the method of reviving your strength by doing things that are good for your body and provide you with mental peace.

Our body is often called a machine, and just like every other machine, it needs a fuel refill. A great man once said, “Health is wealth,” and it is in most cases. Burnout recovery is necessary after every extensive training session where you put in your efforts. It is essential for a student, as they are in a growing state of life where both brain development and physical health is necessary. For computer science guys who are in front of displays all the time whether be laptops, presentations, or mobile screens, recovery is needed to rest their eyes and maintain their peace

Before starting recovery, we have to make an overall goal for our burnout recovery routine. It has to be personal and specific to each individual.

These are the set of questions that will help you determine your recovery routine:

- What are the signs and symptoms of burnout that you are experiencing?

- What are the causes or sources of your burnout?

- What are the things in your life that are adding to your stress, and what are the things that can reduce it?

My burnout was caused by continuous screen time and bad posture. I was having severe migraines as well as back pain. Emotional disbalance and an unhealthy work-life were adding to my stress. I chose to join martial arts to recover my physical strength and to maintain a regular, healthy diet with my family to fuel my mental and emotional well-being.

Based on your assessment, you can create your plan of action. You can start with some common factors

1. Take time off: If possible, take some time off from work or other stressful activities to recover from burnout. Use this time to relax, do activities you enjoy, and spend time with loved ones.

2. Get enough sleep: Sleep is essential to physical and emotional health. Make sure you get enough sleep each night, and try to establish a regular sleep routine.

3. Practice self-care: Engage in activities that help you relax and reduce stress, such as yoga or meditation. Seek out activities you enjoy, and make time for them regularly.

4. Seek support: Talk to friends or family members about your feelings. Consider working with a therapist or counselor who can help you identify triggers and develop strategies to manage stress.

5. Set boundaries: Learn to say no to activities or commitments that don't serve your best interests. Set boundaries with coworkers or others who may be contributing to your burnout.

6. Exercise regularly: Exercise can help improve your mood, reduce stress, and boost overall health. Find a form of exercise you enjoy and make it a regular part of your routine.

4. Self-defense skills: Learning self-defense can provide a sense of empowerment and confidence, which can help reduce anxiety and stress.
