DM & CC Team 9 Week 2 Experience In Side Hustle Bootcamp
As of last week, we were still Certified Newbies In The Digital Marketing and Content Creation World but as of this week, we're getting a hang of things. The team isn't a roller coaster anymore unlike last week because we've gotten used to each other knowing our strengths and weaknesses and how we can contribute to having a fun-filled, worked-filled & stress-filled week.
For this week, we were tasked to choose any industry of our choice i.e. Fashion, Health, Fintech or Food and launch a blog on http://hubspot.com or http://blogger.com. Create content and post on the blog, the blog must have a minimum of 5 articles, 700 words each, images included and must have a minimum of 100 readers.
As usual, we cast a vote on which industry to work on, and about 5 people voted we worked on Healthcare. Our able Team Leader created a timetable for article reviews and publishing by which she put 2 people per day to write the articles from Tuesday to Friday that way we've enough articles to publish.
Our Assistant Team Leader gave us the drive and motivation we needed to work on our role and deliver excellently. We had a brief meeting to decide on the topic each person will write on to make our work effective and avoid repetition of a topic. With everyone knowing their topics, we got down to business.
We all finished our articles before the set date on the timetable, so we were able to review all articles on time. Then came the challenge, we were unable to have all our articles on a link on the hubspot.com website and we already exceeded the minimum number of reads on each article (tears in mi eyes, lol)
Without a second thought, we moved all of our articles to the Blogger.com website. Navigating through this website was (is) easier and faster than the Hubspot website. Then came another challenge, some of us our articles were scattered while some of our images were not showing on the Blogger website.
Our Team Leader became an overnight superwoman and the solved issue of having a bunch of scattered articles and inputted the images where necessary.
Cheers to having our week 2 task done and dusted. Our Team Leader would say "No slacking even though we're using Slack". We are also looking forward to having our week 1 task reviewed.
Phewwwww, let's take our time to rest but our taskmaster (Drey) drops the task for Week 3, welp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
