Vibes And Magic!

Ahem! (Clears throat).

Welcome back to our blog! I'm sure you all enjoyed the beginning of our story - (Alpha Clan).

Well, if you did, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'm excited to be back here to give a full story of how the new week started. I started the new week very elated. I can't believe we are already in week 2 πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ.

You may be wondering why all the excitement. Well, we had ACTUAL FUN on our tasks this time around. What's more? We could afford the leisure of sleep!

After the submission of our week 1 task, every member of the team had the opportunity to rest so we could all be recharged and ready for this week's task. We didn't know what task to expect this week, as last week stretched most of us beyond our limits.

As usual, we were expecting DREY (you remember our boot camp manager, right?) to just kuku murder us this week with tasks. This time, we were stunned at the simplicity! Like, whaaaaaattttttt!!!!!!

At first, I thought the task was a prank because it was too good to be true. Unlike week 1, we were largely relaxed.

We were tasked with launching a live blog and getting at least 100 reads by the end of the week.

As a team, the Alpha Clan came together to set a time to meet to brainstorm and delegate duties for the new week's task almost immediately after it was dropped.

Before discussing the task, we did a detailed review of week 1, pointing out challenges, strengths, and weaknesses and proposing ways to improve in the coming week.

For the task, our ATL ( Assistant Team Lead), 'our mother Hen,' asked that we suggest a niche to create the blog around. As you already know, my team no dey dull all😎. After some deliberations and also considering some factors, one of which was that we intended to run the blog as a team on a long-term basis, even beyond the boot camp, we unanimously concluded to create a multi-niched blog, as against just one niche. Generally, our blogs center around relationships, lifestyle, movie reviews, health and wellness, education, and finances. Each alpha was to write one blog post and submit it the following day, Tuesday, to obtain 100 reads at the end of the week.

That being established, we had to develop a name for our blog. The ATL asked that we dropped suggestions on the Slack group and suggested a site (namelix.com) for name research.

We finally devised a unique name suggestion for our blog - 'Vibegic,' a combination of 'vibe' and 'magic.' Also, we decided to host our blog on blogger.com because it was the best option.

At this point, I think our ATL deserves accolades! I love and admire the energy she has. We nicknamed her 'mummy wa', and rightly so! She does most of the work, so we don't fall behind schedule. I'm learning from her, and I believe others are learning from her wealth of knowledge, too (I know she would see this). Shout out to Special! As her name implies, she is a special woman indeed ❀️❀️❀️.

The blog was created, and we started uploading content with images.

Having created the blog, we faced the challenge of getting at least a hundred reads by the end of the week (this was Wednesday already). Thankfully, all the digital marketing and content creation team leads, and assistants agreed to come together and read each other's blog posts to achieve one hundred reads easily. However, the alpha Team did not stop there as some of us took to other social media channels to share the blog and implore people to read our posts.

At the end of the week, we were able to beat expectations and achieve not just one hundred but over 500 reads and 56 comments!

We created vibes and magic with our resilient spirits this week! Again, teamwork was evident among us, and we are gradually growing into a family, always looking out for each other.

PS- For last week's task, after review and with very few corrections, we were awarded 90% on our task.πŸ’―πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸŽ‰πŸ₯

PSS: I didn't know I could write such a lengthy piece! πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
