4 reasons why Front-End is amazing

In this post, I’ll explain why I’m in love with Front-end development and why I consider it to be one of the best starting points to jump into the sphere of IT.
Let’s get started!
Reason 1: Comparatively low entry point
What I mean by this is that you don’t need to learn any difficult-to-understand concepts (e.g. no higher math or algorithms) right from the beginning to achieve the first results. Don't worry, tough concepts will appear, but only in the future – when you’re ready for them.
Reason 2: Visible results
Remember how hard one should train and how much time should pass before the results in sports show up? The different thing here! After learning the basics (HTML is enough!) in a couple of days you are ready to build the very first site and deploy it on GitHub pages to show your friends and relatives :)
You SEE the result and can SHARE it – these parts are crucial at the beginning as they have a huge impact on motivation, trust me.
Reason 3: Prospects and opportunities
Having 0 knowledge in Front-end development you can already imagine how many websites there are on the Internet, which need to be supported, updated and refactored. And even more, there are to be built from scratch! What you actually CANNOT imagine is the amount of workforce it takes to do all these tasks, and the bigger the system is – the more effort it takes to manage it. The demand for skilled specialists is high and the compensation is more than decent.
Reason 4: Remote work / freelance
It wasn’t really hard to find a remote job in web development before the pandemic & lockdown, but nowadays it became so much easier: seems like more than 50% of companies started hiring devs for hybrid or fully-remote positions! The situation is even more obvious for freelance – demand has increased, and the benefits (as working at your own pace, freedom to travel the world and the diversity of tasks) are still there for you.
This list is not complete, but it includes all the most important reasons why I love front-end development (no offence, Backend, I love you just as much!). They helped me to overcome all the obstacles during the learning process and kept me motivated to shoot for the stars 🌟
Hope now they will encourage you to try something new and change your life for the better!
Thank you for reading till the end! Feel free to share the reasons why you love Front-end (or another programming sphere) in the comments.
