Work From Vadodara

I have been working remotely for 2 years now. While working remotely sounds like fun but it has its own set of problems. Although I created a great work setup for myself sitting in one place for hours every day started reducing my productivity. I started looking out for alternatives where I can take my laptop and work. I have explored a lot of places in my hometown Vadodara. Here is the list of places where you can take your laptop on a date:

Curator's Coffee

I will be a little biased for this place as this is close to where I live. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. They also have charging ports near the table and a good wifi connection so you can respond to your important work messages, well if you need to. The cafe gets noisy at times, a pro tip: carry a pair of noise-cancellation headphones. Talking about beverages and food options. They do serve good coffee but there are not a lot of food options if you visit after breakfast hours (8 AM - 2 PM).

Cost: A cup of coffee costs about 190-250 bucks

Devx Co-Working Space

This is the best co-working space you will find in Vadodara. The picture above shows the flexi space available at the co-working space. You will find a good community to interact with over here. There are also pods to take your work calls. The place also has a TT table and a small cafeteria. Pretty much everything is good over except the management. It might take you about a month to get a monthly pass over here. After getting a monthly pass just wish to god that you don’t have to deal with management.

cost: 590/- per day. 7500/- per month

Odyssey

This is cute little library cum co-working space. It also has an outdoor covered seating. This space on the 7th floor has an altogether different vibe. I get a rust of motivation and I always feel more productive working from here. Although this is not as huge as other co-working spaces it has got everything right. Management is super friendly and helpful. Try it out if you are looking for a long-term work desk.

Cost: 400/- for a day pass. 6500/- for a dedicated desk

Modernist Cafe

If you want a place to accomplish the most challenging task which would require a lot of focus then this is the place. A nice view from the 7th floor with a good coffee and a comfortable chair what else do you need? They serve very good coffee and have charging ports near the table. Everything is good except the fact that you need to rely on your mobile data plan as there is no wifi connection provided.

cost: 200-250/- for a cup of coffee

Soul Brew

It’s quite famous in the town but let me tell you, it’s not at all comfortable working from here. You can watch an episode of shark tank if you count that productive but I don’t think it’s possible to work from here for longer hours.

cost: 220 - 300/- for a coffee

Coffee Clan

If you can survive on a laptop battery and are looking for a nice cup of coffee in a reasonable amount. You can work from here. It has indoor as well as outdoor siting and serves a nice cup of coffee and they do have a lot of good options for snacks.

cost: 150-200/- for a cup of coffee.

These are some places in town that I have experienced. I believe everyone is a bit different when choosing the right environment for themselves. I hope this helps you in some manner. Happy Coding 🙂
