Started my journey of engineering from a 3-tier college and had absolutely no idea what I was falling into ,so from there to being somewhat good at programming probably I will be able to give some brief intro to the world of programming. Probably like everybody my first program was printing "hello world!", although I didn't know what was ahead of me ,I felt excited and realised somewhere that ,this is want I want to do/learn. The first language that I learnt was C ,and you know what I dont regret that because I know it was a hard one to get through and hence it is my favourite now, because imagine being able to get through a phase you thought you could never make it through, it becomes your favourite phase and that (one of the) phase in my life was C! I had no idea about DSA anything I just used to solve problems that I didn't even knew had proper approaches(algos). I was totally illiterate in this field (well now too)! I didnt know briefly about time/space complexity or anything indeed ,I just knew I had to program and get a solution! And you can imagine being at a 3-tier college and not getting proper guidance! It is shit trust me ,like there are obviously some gems too bust most of them aren't and hence you CANNOT depend on your college ,I think that was my biggest mistake! Ofcourse it brought somewhere but no way near to what I wanted to be! If you are a 3-tiered student ,there is no other option than to strive! You have to get through this ,you have to be able to do well in college as well as in the world ,you should know about where the tech is leading because in India especially we soley depend on out dated syllabus! Dont only go through what they tell you in college but also try to explore on your own, try to get new experiences in various stuffs . If you are aiming for some big tech goals you have to grind DSA. So try to solve problems based on various kinds of data structures and algorithms. Try to learn whatever you are keen to know about, it may be about developing an app, designing (UI/UX), AI, data science because tech is vast and you will never get bored! Once you get the kind that you like explore about it more and more follow comittees or people that have same interests as yours, join your college clubs and meet your seniors ask them for suggestions and you will have pretty good idea by then to start. Communicate with people to outside and try to know about thier approaches or suggestions it really does help, some might make you feel shit but thats okay after all we are here to learn but you know what ,never approach those kinds twice even if they are one of the Einstein's kind. You can do it yourself, dont ever give up on that thought and work smart and hard you will be able to make through it! Solving more and more will help a lot! So that's it, just keep striving (whilst having fun, atleast try) till your reach where you want to be! Thanks for reading!
