Infrastructure ( as a Service)

With IAAS you rent IT infrastructure like servers and virtual machines, storage, networks, and operating systems from a cloud provider on pay-as-you-go.

Platform ( as a Service)

It refers to cloud computing services that supply an on-demand environment for developing, testing, delivering, and managing software applications like web applications. We can also call it serverless computing.

Software ( as a Service)

Software as a service delivers software applications over the internet on demand and typically on a subscription basis. For example:- Gmail, OneDrive, Yahoo

Characteristics of Cloud Computing

  1. On-demand self-service

  2. Broad network access

  3. Resource pooling

  4. Rapid elasticity

  5. Measured service
