Art of Exploring Tech Resources

Now, let me tell you how you explore...

Switch off your mobile phones, turn on your desk lamp, open your laptop, close your room door; and CONCENTRATE!

Tried? nasty right?

Well, that’s not how we explore things. First of all; turn on your favorite song playlist, get something to eat, ventilate your room, sit in a relaxed position and groove on.

And that’s when you get into your playful zone. Open your laptop and just search for whatever comes to your mind. Just search, read articles, read blogs, visit websites, save links, add pages to bookmarks and eventually you’ll get at least something useful to read for that day. Researching doesn’t mean to compulsorily following some steps, No; rather have fun reading some random article about the top ten novels to read or how to make ramen, etc. Somewhere and somehow you’ll see or visit a resource that would amaze you. You will try to research more and more about it, as it’s getting much more interesting. So, you see it’s a fun leisure activity!

Technical resources? same way to follow.

Suppose I want to learn a new tech stack. I open Google; type how do I learn MERN stack and press ENTER! A plethora of resources pop up on my screen sorted according to the SEO logic (haha). I go through major pages, find online courses, byte-sized videos, notes and much more. Some Quora pages suggest participating in Hackathons! Huh, came across a new term; “hack-a-thon”. I get back to my sole adviser Google, typing ‘How do I participate in Hackathons?’. Got another gigantic thread of conversations and links e.g. Beginner-friendly hackathons, Hackathons to participate in 2022, Will I be able to win a hackathon? (was self-doubting myself after reading specifically this one), Top ten online hackathon events in 2022, Career opportunities attracting stud to participate in hackathons, etc. And somewhere I found Major League Hacking! And that was my first step to success.

Next time, when u sit to explore and research at night; don’t forget to binge-eat!! Gives the most pleasure(P.S: even I am guilty)
