What I've built till now
Been crossed more than half of 2023, I have had the opportunity to build two remarkable projects that have made a tangible impact in different domains. Let me take you through my journey of developing Athenas, a collaborative student community platform, and a machine learning model that predicts housing prices in India. While I can't divulge details about my current project, its completion will mark another significant milestone in my journey. Not that I'm a well-built graduate who knows a lot of stuff, I am just an upcoming 2nd-year undergrad, who is an unimaginably fast learner, and the following are some of my first projects in the field of IT.
Athenas: My first full-stack project
As a web developer, I wanted to create a platform that brings students from universities worldwide together, enabling them to collaborate, share knowledge, and enhance their academic experience. Athenas became the embodiment of this vision. This front-end web development project offers a space where students can easily upload and share their notes, fostering a vibrant community of learners. Additionally, Athenas provides curated courses and resources, empowering students to explore diverse subjects and expand their horizons. Though it is not fully functional, it has got several features like a user authentication model, contact forms, etc. Tech stacks used here are- Tailwind CSS (Frontend), Django (Backend), and PythonAnywhere (Deployment).

Predicting Housing Prices in India
The ever-changing real estate market intrigued me, and I wanted to develop a solution that could assist both buyers and sellers in making informed decisions. Leveraging machine learning and the capabilities of a random forest regressor model, I built a predictive model that accurately estimates housing prices in India. By considering various features such as location, size, amenities, and historical data, this model provides valuable insights into the dynamic nature of the real estate market. The predictions help individuals navigate the complexities of buying or selling property with confidence.

Ethics in Development
My passion for development continues to drive me forward, and I am currently working on another exciting web development project. However, I firmly believe in maintaining ethical practices and respecting the principles of professionalism. As a result, I refrain from sharing project details until they are completed. This commitment to integrity ensures that I deliver exceptional solutions while maintaining the trust of my contributors.
That's it :)
Till now, this journey of innovation and development has been a rewarding experience. Through Athenas, I have witnessed the idea of collaboration and knowledge sharing among students, a global community of learners. Similarly, the housing price prediction model has provided valuable insights into the real estate market, empowering individuals with informed decision-making capabilities. As I continue my journey, driven by a commitment to ethics and professionalism, I eagerly anticipate unveiling my upcoming project, ready to make yet another positive impact in the world of web development, Data Engineering and more.
