My journey discovering Go Lang
I just opened my Hashnode account to start a series of articles about my journey into the world of Go Lang. After many years of working with the .NET ecosystem since its early versions, I feel it's time for new challenges and motivations. I know it's not something you'd typically expect from a 50-year-old, but you know what? I believe it's one of those clichés that usually isn't close to reality. And that, in itself, could be worth an article.
I began by looking up tutorials online, and I found the ones on the official Go Lang website (https://go.dev/doc/tutorial/getting-started) to be quite helpful and a great starting point.
During this quest for documentation, I stumbled upon a YouTube channel called @anthonygg_. I got hooked from the very beginning, he provides really practical examples, and I must say, following his videos or live streams is quite enjoyable. I'm sharing all of this because his course (https://fulltimegodev.com) is going to be somewhat of a compass for this journey that I'll be sharing with you in the upcoming articles
