Virtual Machine

Have you ever thought of creating a virtual machine? In this exercise, we are going to do so, before I go ahead to create it, we need to know what is a virtual machine(VM). A virtual machine is a virtualized server that can be used in many ways just like a physical computer, you can customize all the software running on your VM. One of the importance of a VM is that it is up and running in the cloud even when your physical computer is not working
STEPS IN CREATING A VIRTUAL MACHINE:
STEP 1: You go to the Azure portal, by signing into https://portal.azure.com
But you must have a Free subscription or Pay-as-you-go account in Microsoft Azure.
STEP 2: Search for a virtual machine in the search bar and select the virtual machine, it will open the 'BASIC' page, which is one of the requirements that must be filled to create a virtual machine.
STEP 3: The next thing is to click the next Button 'NETWORKING' Just leave it as Default.
STEP 4: Then click next to take your Management page: Here you only Enable the 'Auto shutdown' but leave other information as default.
STEP 5: Here in 'MONITORING' you leave everything as default.
STEP 6: This page is called 'ADVANCED' You also leave everything as it is.
STEP 7: In the next step, you can either 'TAG' your work into DEPTS or leave it as default. After you have finished here, you will then click on 'REVIEW +CREATE.
STEP 8: This next step will take you to Validation of the Virtual Machine, then you click on Create below:
STEP 9: This is the Deployment stage as shown below:
STEP 10: This is the stage where the RDP of the virtual machine is revealed, RDP means REMOTE DESKTOP PROTOCOL. This enables users to remotely access and control physical and virtual devices running on the window.
STEP 11: This stage is to CONNECT it to the window, before it can connect, the virtual machine Agent must be ready.
Here, after you click on 'yes', it will ask you for the name and password you filled in under the BASIC page, which must tally with it before you can be connected to the window with your IP Address.
And finally, see what we have here: VIRTUAL MACHINE.
