How to create a Front Door for a highly available global web application

Azure Front Door is a service offered by Microsoft Azure that provides secure and scalable entry points for fast delivery of global web applications

Azure Front Door essentially accelerates application performance and increases application availability with automatic failover and instant global failover decisions.

If one of your applications were to fail, then the traffic would be immediately routed to the next application.

So Front Door monitors the availability of an application and then directs traffic to the next application if there was some sort of failure.
