While you are here, start from wherever.

I remember the first time I received a prize from tech in 2019, it was a hacktoberfest T-shirt and I was blown away.

I wasn't blown away because of the shirt, I mean I have clothes to wear, obviously.😅

I was blown away because I got it without actually knowing how to do what I did to get it.

Can I explain?.......Okay.

So it was October and for techies, it was the period to make OpenSource contributions which I didn't really know how to do because you needed the knowledge of Version Control and the rest of those technical stuff or so I thought at the time.

I remember Kwatmi Haruna Paul explaining Git and GitHub to myself, Gambo Suleiman Pascal and Salvation Mp III that year, and he was talking about branches, and all that was in my head was the mango tree in my house.😂

Somehow I was still there, and hoping to get the hang of things.

Back to hacktoberfest and how I got the T-shirt.

So boss, Abubakar Siddiq Ango took us on a step by step guide on how to make our first contribution to Open Source, and it wasn't something complicated which I always believed it to be, but that's it for someone who is just starting out.

My point is, start from wherever and now is the best time. There's nothing like a best start or even a worst, but there would always be a worst landing, because for all we know, time is of the essence.

There's also nothing like I need to be good before I start, I mean how would you know if you never try?

Okay, let me stop here with the whole story. I will get enough to drop subsequently🫣
