Hands-on Actions for Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS):

  1. Create an EBS Volume: To create an EBS volume, you can do so through the AWS Management Console or by using the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI). You will specify the volume type, size, and availability zone where the volume should be created.

  2. Attach a New EBS to an Instance: After creating an EBS volume, you can attach it to an EC2 instance. This can also be done through the AWS Management Console or using the AWS CLI. When attaching, you specify the instance to which it should be attached.

  3. Increase the Size of an Existing EBS: If you need to expand the storage capacity of an existing EBS volume, you can do this by modifying the volume size. You can increase the size of the volume without detaching it from the instance, but it's essential to expand the file system on the instance to use the additional storage space.

These actions are fundamental for managing EBS volumes efficiently and ensuring your storage scales meet your changing needs.
