My Tech Journey so far๐
Ok so hi guys.....I don't really know how to feel right now. To be honest, my tech journey so far Techiesandgrowth hasn't been a smooth one especially as a newbie and a student having to balance work with academic activities. I'm just grateful that I have had to connect with some great minds like Pascal Nnaji and Elizabeth Freeman ..... It's because of their encouragement that I was able to make it to this phase to be honest....I really appreciate them
Alright so back to the business, please forgive my emotional state and long talk๐๐
Talking about my journey so far in the tech space, I've learnt a lot while doing assignments provided by my mentors both theoritically and practically. First, in my week one, I got to understand that HTML is actually a starting point in the web development process and it is basically the foundation or structure of every webpage, it's elements, syntax and document structure and got to create my very own website. It was pretty amazing ๐คฉ. The experience was exhilarating
So you might find this quite amusing but I never knew that CSS actually stands for Cascading Style Sheets until I participated actively in my assignment so that's a huge plus for me๐
So, in summary, I'd actually liken HTML, CSS and JavaScript to a car whereby HTML is the structure of the car, CSS is the colour, seats etc and then JavaScript is the engine of the car that gets it going. I hope you get the point sha.
My week two was basically an elaboration on the basics gotten from week one...more like an elaboration on the elements in HTML such as paragraphs, headings, blocks and inline elements, comments, text formatting and the likes. It was actually an eye opener for me and I do not regret being part of this platform provided by my mentors to grow and be relevant in the tech space. I still look forward to working with Techiesandgrowth to explore my tech skills...
