My 3rd Month Experience at TIIDELab Fellowship
I have spent 3 months at the TIIDELab fellowship and I must confess that this month has been my favourite ever of the three, I have so many, just so many to share in this article and I cannot wait to, so, let's delve right in.
JAVASCRIPT CONTINUES!!
This month, we continued to concentrate on JavaScript ideas and their useful applications. We covered a variety of subjects, including array methods, local storage, DOM manipulation, regular expressions, and error handling.
The second chapter of Data Structure and Algorithm was also covered. We covered the other aspects of DSA that we didn't cover in the first month and it was much easier to understand
This is an image of a project I did on local storage.
I must say I am excited about how my JavaScript skills have improved during this month and I can not be more grateful for TIIDELab.
HEAD OF HOUSE WEEK
During the eleventh week of our fellowship, I won the post of head of house, with my coding Partner Henry, it was such a good coincidence I must confess.
We ran for the post by showcasing our presentation skills and our public speaking skills and we both won among others.
It was indeed a week full of work, I must confess, I saw how tasking leadership was and the amount of sacrifice that goes into making things work.
I learned so much, pushed myself outside of my shell and did a lot I would never have thought I would do. It was tasking but an enriching position I must confess and I could not be more glad I got to lead the TIIDELab fellows with my very good friend and coding partner Henry Ije, working with him was very seamless and I think he deserves some flowers. Shout out to you Henry.
OUR THIRD LAGOS PHYSICAL MEETING
Always a Joy to meet with my Lagos fellows, we got to meet for September and it is always beautiful
During these Fridays are when we have our professional classes, as I have said, TIIDELab do not just build us technically, they also build us all around, so we become an all-rounded software developer both in character and in capacity.
EUVOLA EUVOLA EUVOLA
My team has been working on her product which is the Insurance Sales Management tool and it has reached the JavaScript implementation aspect, we have built our product with HTML and Tailwind CSS and we are currently adding the JavaScript application.
It is a work in progress so I cannot show much
MODEL UNGA TASK
The fourth Model UNGA challenge, which was designed to improve our research, presentation, and public speaking skills, was the highlight of this month’s workout. We got to spend the day acting like presidents of different countries, which was an interesting experience. It was an honour for me to represent Kenya.
I presenting as Kenya’s President to TIIDELab Fellows
