It is the new version of not buying the new hardware but renting the hardware virtually. Cloud computing minimizes these upfront expenses, and you can rent/lease hardware from cloud providers such as AWS/Azure/GCP.

IaaS VS PaaS VS SaaS -
IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service): IaaS products allow organizations to manage their business resources โ such as their network, servers, and data storage โ on the cloud.
PaaS (Platform as a Service): PaaS products allow businesses and developers to host, build, and deploy consumer-facing apps.
SaaS (Software as a Service): By far the most common cloud service, SaaS products offer both consumers and businesses cloud-based tools and applications for everyday use.

Azure or Microsoft Azure
GCP - Google Cloud Platform

What is Azure DevOps ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Azure DevOps is a suite of services you can implement end-to-end DevOps in your organization. It includes services such as Azure Repos, Boards, Wiki, Build and Release pipelines, Test plans, Artifacts, etc.
Type of Hosting Options ๐
You can work in the cloud using Azure DevOps Services or on-premises using Azure DevOps Server. Organizations that want complete control over their data would mostly prefer to use Azure DevOps Server. We will use the cloud offering Azure DevOps Services.
Pricing ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฒ
In the basic plan, you will get the first 5 users free of cost with all the services within certain limits except the Azure test plan, for which you need a Basic+Test plan subscription
