What I'm learning today
Azure Az-104 study tactics continued
Yesterday I wrote an article about how I was going to try a new study approach for the Az-104. I did attempt this approach. However, in the middle of trying this approach, I went over the Microsoft study guide for the exam. As I was reading it I saw the tip section with the exam prep videos. I had seen this link before but felt it would be better to watch it after I had fully prepared as a basic prep right before the test to make sure I was ready. However, I noticed it seemed like Microsoft was telling me to watch the exam prep videos and then review the study guide, not the other way around. This may or may not have been the case but that is what I did.
The video was great. I felt the profession narrowed a lot of the scope of the information down for me and allowed me to focus without being overwhelmed. I ended up watching the video on the first section and took flash card notes. After that I went and started going through the Microsoft learn documentation. I didn't do this before because a lot of the suggestions I read online were based on Udemy video courses. However, going through the Microsoft learned it felt like each section had information talking about some of the problems in the practice test. I'm starting to feel more confident this might be a better approach going forward. I will test this out today and try to make a more systematic approach going forward.
