What is Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Program ?
The Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Program unites students globally who share a passion for technology and a keen enthusiasm for expanding their knowledge in this field while actively contributing to their communities. Ambassadors have the chance to engage with fellow students, mentors, and professionals, gaining exposure to diverse Microsoft technologies and applying them in real-world scenarios.

In the era of virtual classes and online social engagements, the significance of discovering your community has never been more crucial. Elevate your influence by uniting with peers, collectively learning new skills, tackling real-world issues, and fostering global communities.
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the program:
i) You must be at least 16 years old, have valid identification and be currently enrolled in an accredited higher education institution.
ii) While having some coding or technology experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The program encourages students from various academic backgrounds who are interested in enhancing their career and tech skills to apply. Comprehensive tools and resources are provided to facilitate learning and engagement in the program, regardless of your technical background.
What are the benefits of being a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador?

· Access Visual Studio Enterprise subscription along with $150/month worth of Azure credits
· Benefit from a complimentary 6-month LinkedIn Learning subscription

New Student Ambassadors are granted access to the dynamic community on Microsoft Teams, offering them the chance to engage with professionals and mentors. Additionally, they receive privileges such as access to Microsoft 365 and complimentary use of TechSmith's Snagit and Camtasia screen capture and recording software, along with several other valuable benefits.
There are three milestones to achieve in order to access the benefits:
i) Alpha - Successfully complete a Microsoft Learn path to unlock Azure credits (valued at $150 per month) in conjunction with your Visual Studio Enterprise subscription. This milestone also grants you a LinkedIn Learning subscription, a certification voucher, a complimentary domain name, and numerous other perks.
ii) Beta - where ambassadors are required to organize a community event to unlock event support and resource benefits, the Beta milestone marks a significant progression. Upon reaching Beta, ambassadors have the potential to receive an exclusive invitation to participate in the annual Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Summit. This milestone not only grants access to valuable resources but also brings the exciting prospect of receiving swag and exceptional accessories from Microsoft. It signifies a pivotal moment in the journey of student ambassadors, highlighting the recognition of their efforts and contributions within the Microsoft Learn community.
iii) Gold - For ambassadors who go above and beyond in earning badges and actively engaging in their local community, they will be invited to the Gold milestone! This exclusive recognition is extended to those who have been active and committed participants in the program. Attaining Gold not only provides access to special events but also offers the potential to be invited to become a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP). Additionally, Gold ambassadors receive the impressive Gold MLSA Swag Kit, filled with amazing goodies as a token of acknowledgment for their outstanding contributions.
How to apply for MLSA?
To enroll in this program, you can submit your application by following this link: https://studentambassadors.microsoft.com/en-US/
STEP 1: Visit https://studentambassadors.microsoft.com/en-US/ Click on the "Apply now" button and log in using any of the provided options.
STEP 2: After logging in, carefully review and agree to the privacy and terms. Upon confirming your eligibility, proceed to the Personal Info section and provide all the required details accurately.
STEP 3: After completing the personal information section, you'll proceed to the academic information segment. Once you fill in your academic details, the crucial part of the application emerges: the Written Sample.
STEP 4: The Written Sample is the most important part of this application, requiring your responses to the provided questions. This section is segmented into three parts, as illustrated in the image:
Each field must be responded to using either a video or a written sample. Please note: It is necessary to answer at least one question in the form of a video.
STEP 5: In this step, you are required to complete the Additional Info section, including details such as your LinkedIn profile URL and technical blog post URL. While this section is optional, it is advisable to fill in as many fields as you can.
STEP 6: In the 'Technical Skills' section, you are prompted to specify the technologies that interest you. Additionally, you have the option to share any other relevant information if you wish.
