Day 3-4/100

Hey there fellow devs! Welcome back to my blog again! ๐ซ
I was travelling back to my college from my hometown, so I couldn't do much. ๐ Here's an encapsulation of all that I did in these past two day :
๐น๏ธ**Constructors in C++ : Continued with lectures in C++ for DSA. Constructors in C++ are special member functions that initialize objects upon creation. I'm following Saurabh Shukla's playlist from YouTube. โ ๏ธ
๐น๏ธQuery Strings in NodeJS : In Node.js, query strings are often utilized to handle and parse parameters passed in the URL. These strings provide a flexible way to extract data from the request URL, enabling developers to build dynamic and interactive web applications.โ ๏ธ
๐น๏ธ URL parameters : URL parameters are key-value pairs appended to the end of a URL, allowing data to be passed between different components of a web application. Understanding how to work with URL parameters is essential for creating dynamic and personalized web experiences.โ ๏ธ
๐น๏ธAccessing temp. using real-time API entered by user by ExpressJS : Leveraging real-time APIs in ExpressJS enabled me to access and incorporate live temperature data into my website. I could edit the website url and see the temperature on my console. This dynamic integration can enhance user experiences, especially in scenarios where up-to-date information is crucial. I did this with my weather website. It was so fun seeing the website come alive!โ ๏ธ
๐น๏ธONDC, Beckn protocols: I read about this for my hackathon. The ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) and BeckN Protocol are cutting-edge technologies often explored in hackathons. ONDC facilitates open and inclusive digital commerce, while the BeckN Protocol focuses on secure and efficient communication between decentralized applications.โ ๏ธ
๐น๏ธIndia's DGP, DPI : I read about this for the upcoming hackathon. DPG aka Digital Public Goods, it refers to resources, software, or data that are made available for public use and contribute to the overall well-being of society. Understanding and promoting Digital Public Goods play a significant role in advancing open and inclusive digital ecosystems.
DPI aka Digital Public Infrastructure, it typically encompasses the foundational technology and infrastructure that supports digital services for the public good. This can include platforms, networks, and systems that contribute to the overall development and accessibility of digital services.โ ๏ธ
๐น๏ธRegular expressions for DB : Read about this and practisss some questions. Regular expressions provide powerful tools for manipulating and querying databases. Their use in database operations allows for efficient searching, filtering, and validation of data, contributing to the robustness and reliability of database-driven applications. I'm doing this as a part of stylus cohort for building Distributed Cache from Scratch. Being new to this dB system, I'm following it a bit difficult to keep up with this series.
Nevertheless, the push I'm receiving from my seniors to go for it is enough to motivate me. There are very few people from the first year actually following this series, so it's all the more fun!โ ๏ธ
I am so so so happy to announce with you my fellow devs that my idea got selected for hackathon!โค๏ธ It feels like such a tremendous achievement, being from the first semester. My team includes me, a first sem lad, one second year and two fourth years. I have a feeling this is going to be a great great learning experience! ๐ป
I had to travel back go my college from home, so I couldn't get a lot done ๐. Tomorrow's again gonna be travel, travel and travel!
Hope tomorrow's better than today, yours and mine alike! Till then, Au Revoir!๐ฅ
