Hello πŸ‘‹πŸ€—

Today is Day 13 of #100DaysOfCode. My personal website is getting better, and I'm so happy 😁.

I worked on detailing my work experience at the current start-up I'm working with. I'm not done with the content though. - here

I also worked on detailing my experience in database diagrams - here

I'll disburse little details on them πŸ‘‡

My work experience at Basitech - we are working on an SMS - School Management System, control your school's data virtually.

I initially joined this start-up as an intern, only to discover that I was assigned the role of a senior backend developer πŸ₯², as there was no one else in that position on the teamβ€”just me and another intern. Stepping into this unexpected role has been quite demanding.

The beginning was challenging; without a lead for the backend team, our plans seemed to go nowhere. We repeatedly drafted and redrafted, planned and replanned.

My colleague focused on setting up and constructing routes. Meanwhile, my role involved meticulous checks on the functionality of these routes, considering all possible scenarios. I implemented validations, fine-tuned database queries for specificity and security enhancements, and rigorously tested the routes using tools like Postman, among other tasks.

I assumed this responsibility because I dislike lags in projects I'm involved in. While I may not be the most proficient, I strive to minimize shortcomings, understanding that no system is entirely flawless, but it should have minimal flaws. The process was demanding, involving code refactoring, thorough testing with Postman, and prioritizing security enhancements.

As we progressed, my focus shifted to contemplating the models and their connections. I began pondering the long-term effects. Proposing frequent nighttime collaboration with my colleague, I introduced DrawSQL to draft and interconnect the models, ensuring both security and ease of access for the rightful owner.

For the complete story, check my personal website above.

Thanks for reading πŸ™. God bless πŸ™.
