Two Legendary JDM Cars

JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars are a dream for this young generation. I’m no exception. There are many amazing JDM cars in the market but among them, I love two fantastic cars which makes me a car lover. Now I'm going to write what I know about those powerful machines.

Honda Civic Type R

Honda. Who hasn't heard this name? This car brand is well known for its outstanding performance. Honda's architecture and build quality are very good. Honda Civic Type R is one of the best inventions of Honda. This Type R FL-5 is the world’s fastest front-wheel-drive car, which is a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged and produces 315 horsepower at 6500 rpm. Fastest front wheeler ever!

Type R is a manual gear car. Its handling is so much perfect that it has the ability to win a lap race easily. Type R is also famous for winning rally racing championships. The best part of this car I love is that it's a four-seater sports sedan. It means you can have fun in this car with your friends and family.

It has a mostly flat underbody, a functional rear wing, as well as fender slits that vent hot air from the engine bay through the hood scoop. It creates lots of downforces which gives the car extra pressure to attach to the ground. It has three functional exhausts, and sound quality is decent.

The interior is also a charming part of this car. The seats are spectacular, and the Alcantara steering wheel is a delight to hold and operate, and so too the metal gear lever and all the pedals. It has Brembo brakes which are very responsive. In summary, Honda Civic Type R is a brilliant sports car with lots of modern features.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

Looking for an affordable four-seater sports car? Well, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X can be a good choice for you. People call it Evo X. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution series started its journey in 1992. Mitsubishi launched the Evolution series as a response to the company's involvement in rally racing and to capitalize on the success and popularity of their rally racing cars. The Evolution (Evo) series earned many rally champion series trophies. Evo X is one of the best cars they have ever built.

Evo X is a high-performance sports sedan which was introduced in 2007 and produced until 2016. Evo X is a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged Mivec engine, and it can produce around 291 to 303 horsepower. I love this car so much because it is a budget-friendly four-seater and four-wheel-drive sports car!

With its advanced all-wheel-drive system, it can beat any 2-liter engine car easily. This car is perfect for drag race and rally race, but in lap racing, I think Type R is slightly better. The design of Evo X is very much sharp for aerodynamics. This car looks muscular. This is a heavy car also. It has BBS wheels and Brembo braking system. One negative point is it doesn’t have daytime running light. One of the best things about this car is its exhaust sound.

The interior of this car is also fine. Mitsubishi didn’t compromise with its interior quality. It has a driver-focused cockpit. The Evo X has supportive bolstered Recaro seats for both the driver and front passenger. It also has a good amount of cabin space. So, as a sports sedan, it is a value for money car. The young generation loves this car for its look and performance.
