Printers play a crucial role in printing your image or design that you can further cut on the Cricut machine. I would suggest you use a home printer that supports color printing.

Laser
It uses a high temperature that helps to fuse toner to the material.
It is not suitable to be used with heat-sensitive materials such as printable vinyl or printable iron-on.
It also works perfectly with regular printer paper, cardstock, and specialty materials which are specifically made to resist the high temperature of heat.
3. Suitable Materials
Materials made for Print Then Cut usually have a matte finish and non-reflective texture. This is because the high reflection can hinder the ability to Print and Then Cut the sensor in the Cricut machine.
