Joining the Safaricom Engineering Community provided invaluable insights into the fintech ecosystem. Immersed in the world of financial technology, I gained a profound understanding of the industry’s nuances, expanding my horizons beyond conventional programming.

The hands-on experience came to fruition as I embarked on a project to develop a car rental system using PHP. This endeavor not only honed my programming skills but also allowed me to witness the tangible impact of technology on real-world solutions.

Within the tapestry of my 2023 tech journey, a significant chapter unfolded as I undertook a transformative gig that seamlessly melded the realms of technology and wellness. This particular project not only involved the mastery of React.js and Next.js but also marked a collaborative effort with “Think Organic,” a prominent organic health company based in Kenya.

Sharing insights became a natural progression as I stood before the audience at DevFest Pwani. Delivering a talk on enhancing authentication security, I had the opportunity to contribute to the collective knowledge of the tech community, fostering a spirit of collaboration and growth.
