In the realm of test scriptless test automation tools, industry experts frequently refer to tools and frameworks that need little to no code in a number of ways, including low-code, no-code, and codeless. These methods are also commonly referred to as scriptless automation.

The terms no-code, codeless, and scriptless are fundamentally synonymous. These tools enable users to write and run tests without prior coding skills. They enable anybody to graphically design a test based on any form of business logic that requires validation, making software testing considerably more accessible.

During the codeless automation process, testers are not required to know how to code. Instead, they use specialized tools to assist in the creation of appropriate test scripts. Even with codeless testing, testers must understand software testing and product development.

This technology, by its very nature, may cause issues for both users and IT. It presents issues in ensuring correctly installed and up-to-date solutions for each type of system. Test automation necessitates ongoing maintenance while being conducted constantly. This implies that test automation must be built on a solid basis that can expand as needed, remain operational, be highly secure in order to fulfill the stringent needs of organizations, and provide ample processing power and storage.
