Azure Synapse has four components:

  1. Synapse SQL: Complete T-SQL based analytics — Generally Available

  2. Spark: Deeply integrated Apache Spark (preview)

  3. Synapse Pipelines: Hybrid data integration (preview)

  4. Studio: Unified user experience. (preview)
