Overview of Interview process

Radiant interview process is basically in 3 phases.

1. Written Exam

2. Technical interview

3. Client Interview

You need to pass each steps for forwarding to the next step.

My experience

I sent my application directly via email and, after a few weeks, got a call from the HR at Radiant Data Systems. They asked me to attend the written exam the very next day, which seems to be a standard practice for them. If you're applying to Radiant, be ready for a quick turnaround, as you might be scheduled for the exam on short notice. It's wise to stay prepared!

Written Exam

The written exam consists of 3 sections

• Output Tracing

• Problem Solving

• Sql query

Output Tracing

In this section they actually focuses on C#, C++, C, JAVASCRIPT languages and some important concepts , such as

1. ref , out in C#

2. Array concepts

3. Polymorphism concepts

4. Method overriding

5. Pointer

6. i++ , ++i

7. Constructor

8. static , virtual keyword

Problem solving

There were 2 problems were given

1. Find the special charecters from a string

2. Uses fo stirng operations split, substring.

Sql Query
In this section they focuses on basic query.

• Normal select query

• Groupby

• Cartesian

• update

• case

The written exam is about 45 minutes. After the exams you will be asked to wait for 40 - 45 min for the results. If you are selected then you will be called for the interview on the same day.

Interview Experience

This interview is quite interesting, in my time there were 3 persons in the interview board.

• HR

• Sr.software Engineer

• Someone who was from the management.

1. Introduce yourself

2. Why do you want to join the Radiant Data Systems?

3. Do you have any plan for persuing masters in abroad?

Question asked by the Sr.Software Engineer

1. Asked some questions on hackathons I have joined and what I did there.

2. What are the tools to interact with APIS ?

3. Difference between swagger and Postman.

4. How will you store the result of a query in DOTNET

5. What is the default value of boolean?

6. How will you handle a bug in API ?

7. Code first and Database first method and there differences.

Questioned asked by the management person

These questions were more about understanding how you handle different situations based on your responses to the HR, Senior Software Engineer, and details in your CV. They vary from person to person, and there's no right or wrong answer – you just share what you think is appropriate. Essentially, they aim to get to know you better.
