From Struggle to Success: A Woman's Journey in Tech

As a child, my fascination with science and technology knew no bounds. I devoured books on the subject, eager to unravel the mysteries of the world around me. Naturally, I pursued higher studies in the field of science, dreaming of a future filled with innovation and discovery. However, despite my best efforts, I faced setbacks along the way.

Despite countless hours of studying, I found myself unable to clear the JEE exam. But did I let that deter me? No. I pivoted and pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a government college. Though I wasn't the top student, my insatiable curiosity and experimental mindset drove me forward.

Determined to excel, I set my sights on the prestigious IITs, aiming to crack the GATE exam. But failure greeted me once again. Undeterred, I left my job and devoted an entire year to preparation, sacrificing weekends and social interactions for the sake of my dreams. And when the results came, I passed – but only just.

Disheartened by my low score, I faced a pivotal decision. Despite the encouragement of others to persevere, self-doubt crept in. But I refused to let my confidence waver. With a backup plan in mind, I embarked on a new journey into the world of cloud computing and DevOps.

Studying tirelessly on my own, I encountered numerous challenges – moments of financial strain, bouts of under-confidence, and waves of self-doubt. Yet, through it all, my determination remained unwavering. And after five and a half months of relentless effort, success finally found me – in the form of a job offer.

Today, I not only possess knowledge of my background but have also acquired expertise in AWS cloud and various DevOps tools. And of course, this is just the beginning of the journey. Many more new things, learnings, and experiences are yet to come.

Reflecting on my journey, I realize that every obstacle I faced was an opportunity to push my limits and exceed expectations. Today, as I celebrate Women's Day, I am reminded that resilience, determination, and unwavering belief in oneself can overcome any challenge.

My story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the resilience of the human spirit. To all the women out there facing their own challenges, remember: the path to success may not always be easy, but with determination and unwavering resolve, anything is possible. Happy Women's Day!

"HELLO WORLD, I'm a BTech graduate, currently rocking it as a Junior DevOps Engineer. I love diving into AWS cloud stuff, playing with Linux, and keeping my code in check with Git. I've got these cool tools—Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Jenkins—in my toolbox, and I use them to make sure our apps run smoothly. I'm like the conductor of a CI/CD orchestra, making sure our code goes live without a hitch. I've been hitting goals, making a mark, and I'm all about bringing some innovation to the tech scene. Excited to see what's next in this ever-changing tech world!"
