Line Production Workshop
RESHETNEV сompany hosted an offsite workshop laying the ground for SPHERE Federal Program satellite line production.
Representatives from twelve rocket and space enterprises and research centers joined the workshop where RESHETNEV engineers shared their experience in mastering the line production approach to satellite building. Speakers presented their contributions and shared views on the step-by-step pivot to line production, specialists’ advanced training at Moscow Aviation Institute Lean School, and the implementation of various technologies allowing to reduce the production cycle.
For a more in-depth look into the approach, workshop participants were invited for a tour of RESHETNEV grounds. The line production facility, including the MARATHON satellite assembly line, showcased the changes that will allow for improving workplace ergonomics, increasing labor safety, and advancing satellite building to a new level.
