“Only do what you can reasonably sustain for years and years.” - Jane Friedman

How do I get any work done on trips?

We do not live differently when we travel.

Whether at home or on the road, we try and do things that make us happy. To me, that’s focusing on doing meaningful work, reading, writing and drawing.

Here’s how my usual day lines up:

  • Wake-up/Wash-up/Short workout

  • Breakfast

  • Work/Leisure

  • Lunch

  • Work/Leisure

  • Work-out/Meditate/Afternoon Nap

  • Dinner

  • Work/Leisure

  • Short workout/Wash-up/Bedtime

Times are always variable. Applicable anywhere.

Here are my road tested, must-bring tools for every trip.
