Made a Business Account and Still Got Low Limits? Here's How to Fix It!
Did you convert your account to a business account hoping your limits would increase to 50k/500k items? Then, when you checked your limits, you found you could only list 70 items per month, or in some cases, just 10 items per month. This is a serious bottleneck in your dropshipping business.
This has happened to me as well, but don't worry—there's a solution!
Solution #1:
Create a brand new account with a completely fresh setup. The reason you received a low limit is that eBay was flagging your current setup. They detected something off about your setup. You can learn how to get a fresh setup for a new account in detail in the course—check that out!
Solution #2:
Start building a relationship with eBay. Spend one month on your eBay account providing excellent customer service, shipping out items promptly, and ensuring your customers are happy. Once eBay's algorithm sees that you've sold 40% of your listed inventory, they will naturally boost your limits. You can achieve a high sell-through rate by selling inexpensive items at a loss or undercutting other users on eBay to increase sales. Typically, after the first automatic evaluation, eBay may increase your limits to 50k immediately.
Don't worry too much about this; it's not a new issue.
