Troubleshooting PFSense: Regain Access to GUI & CLI When Network is Down

Scenario: While working accidentally checked block private networks and loopback addresses in Main Router.

Impact: The whole network management portal of PFsense became unreachable onwards. The network was completely managed as gateway was PFsense's IP. PFsense blocked all private ip addresses , PF sense was being used as gateway for entire office network. The network went down and impacted all the services from the network.

Resolution: Since the network was completely unreachable from LAN and (WiFi) SSID which was provided by AP which was connected to PFsense Via LAN. We were using OpenVPN service from our PFSense. We connected to our office network using OpenVPN and the accessed PFsense GUI and unchecked the block private networks and loopback addresses and resolved the issue.
