Computer File Path
"Alright, let's pretend you have a big toy box with lots of toys inside. Each toy has its own special spot in the toy box, right? Well, computer file paths are like telling the computer where to find your favorite toy in the toy box!
Imagine you're giving directions to a friend to find your favorite toy. You might say something like, 'Go to the toy box, then look in the top left corner, and you'll find my favorite teddy bear.'
Computer file paths work the same way! They're like giving directions to the computer to find a file (like a picture or a game) on the computer. Instead of a toy box, we have folders, and each folder is like a different part of the toy box.
Here's an example of a computer file path:
See how it looks like a map? The 'C:' is like the big toy box, and 'Documents' is like one of the folders inside the toy box. Then, 'My Pictures' is like a smaller section inside the 'Documents' folder, and finally, 'vacation.jpg' is like your favorite toy (a picture from your vacation)!
