Weekly Dev Journal - Episode # 07
Hello & Welcome to the 7th episode of WEEKLY DEV JOURNAL ๐
Hope you had a great week of learning & achieving Goals.
I am writing after many weeks so in this episode, I will try to cover everything.
Let's start with this one.
Learnings:
Startup Scoop:
I watched a insta reel of aryan singh where he was talking about his projects. One project that he talk about was news website with rss feed. I liked this idea and want to build something like this.
I modify the idea and change it to: a website to get startup related news directly to your email.
This was the final version that I built:
https://startup-scoop.vercel.app/
Leetcode challenge:
I along with my MLSA team, hosted a virtual 7 Days Leetcode challenge.
This was 7 days challenge where participants solved 2 leetcode problems everyday for consecutive 7 days.
Winner got the swag kit as token of appreciation.
Linkedin Newsletter:
I started a newsletter on linkedin "The Diary of a Coder".
Currently It has 650 SUBSCRIBERS. You can also subscribe, if you haven't. Click Here
It will be a series where I will share detailed blogs on my projects, learning something new or building something new etc๐
Live Streams:
For the past few weeks, I wanted to do coding live streams.
This was my ultimate goal of doing live streams, building projects, test out new challenges, try my different project ideas etc.
I was in my hostel and decide to start this thing, I was doing my database subject project so I decided to complete it in Live stream.
So, I went live on I think 2 am, and build project for 45 Minutes.
This was the live stream that I did.
Currently, I am making poster for my next live stream (hopefully for today).
Psycho Ponderings
The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your life.
We are so distracted by how things end, we usually forget how beautiful the beginning was.

Book
I re-read Steal like an artist book by Austin Kleon.
Everytime I read this book, I found something new.
This time, I also got some valuable insights.
That's it for this one.
