Setup Host-Only Network within the Virtual Box

Steps

• Open Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager as Administrator

• Select "File" from the Menu Bar on the top left corner

• Select Tools > Network Manager

• 

  This type of window pane will open:

• 

  Click Create button (might ask for Admin permission)

• A new adapter will appear

  

• A sub network 192.168.10.1/24 is created

• IP and Network Mask can adjusted accordingly

• DHCP Server can also be enabled by DHCP Server tab:

• 

  That's all, you are set to go !!

Troubleshooting

Sometimes when creating the network gives error, it's mainly because of firewall. So just add the VirtualBox to the allow list and restart the application, the issue will be resolved.
